Binance signs on as Grammys’ official crypto exchange partner

The operator of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange will become the first-ever official crypto exchange partner for the annual Grammy Awards for musical achievement.

  • Binance will bring various Web 3.0 technology solutions and experiences to the organization’s members, events and initiatives, a press release said.
  • “We feel that it’s important to work with innovative partners to explore new monetization avenues for our members and create new experiences for music fans,” said Recording Academy co-president Panos A. Panay, who is also the chief product officer at Microsoft.
  • “We are excited to work together with the Recording Academy to bring fresh new experiences powered by blockchain and all the great things Web3 technology can bring to entertainment,” Binance co-founder Yi He said.
  • Live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the 64th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, April 3, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
