Adding to its ambitious roster of sports sponsorships, Crypto.com will be the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform backing the Qatar World Cup after bagging the deal for an undisclosed amount, the international soccer association announced on Wednesday, Asia time.

- The crypto exchange will offer customers exclusive merchandise and chances to attend matches during the tournament, according to the announcement.
- “Crypto.com has already demonstrated a commitment to supporting top-tier teams and leagues, major events and iconic venues across the world,” said Kay Madati, FIFA’s chief commercial officer.
- Crypto.com made headlines last November when it spent $700 million on the largest naming rights deal in sports history, renaming the iconic Staples Center in Los Angeles to Crypto.com Arena.
